Popi and a Late Autumn Afternoon

These days are fleeting, so when it came to a beautiful autumn afternoon at Great Ape Trust, Popi the orangutan knew how to make the most of it.
It was the American author Nathaniel Hawthorne who wrote more than 150 years ago, "I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air."
No one needed to convince Popi. Cherish the day, old girl.
